LEO Saves” is the theme for a series of financial literacy classes and related independent programs brought by the nonprofit Libraries of Eastern Oregon (LEO) and partners to residents in Morrow and Umatilla counties. Funding for LEO Saves has been provided through the “Smart Investing at Your Library” initiative of The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Investor Education Foundation and the American Library Association (ALA).

Welcome to "LEO Saves"

LEO Saves delivers bilingual, in-person and videoconference programs at area libraries, Blue Mt. Community College and other community centers for lifelong learners of all ages.

Program topics include information for consumers of all ages on a wide range of topics such as investing, consumer know-how and making smart decisions about personal finances. LEO Saves presents area residents with effective, unbiased financial education resources from basic saving techniques to targeted fiscal management.

LEO Saves also helps build financial literacy collections (books and program DVDs) for area libraries with materials to be shared by residents via inter-library, on-line borrowing throughout eastern Oregon.
